Murray Lampert Kitchen Giveaway Rules & Prize Detail

Must be 18 years or older to enter. This contest is open to submissions pertaining to properties within the greater San Diego area. Submissions can be made by the homeowner of the property, or a nomination from someone who is not the homeowner. If the property was nominated by someone who is not the homeowner, MLDBR will ask for the homeowner’s permission to proceed with their giveaway entry. If a homeowner declines a nomination, their property will not be eligible to win.
The Google entry form is provided through a link. It will ask a series of questions and all items must be answered to be considered. Many answers requested will be in short paragraph form, and or ‘click all that apply’. Examples of information required are:
Name | Phone number | Email address | Property address | Style preferences | Photos of current kitchen*
Project goals | Project limitations.
*Photos of existing kitchen/ or proposed building area conditions will need to be submitted via email, separately from the Google Form. Photos must be in Jpeg form and not to exceed 350kb each, or equivalent.
The contest will close on 11:59pm PST on April 16th, 2024, and all entries must be submitted prior to this date and time.
All designs and plans are proprietary property of Murray Lampert, Design, Build, Remodel.
Only one (1) kitchen entry per address will be accepted. Multiple kitchen entries attached to the same mailing address will be removed from the contest.
The homeowner, nominating party, and winning property will be selected at random in our MLDBR office, through a lottery system. All entries have the same probability of winning despite social media Follows/Likes/Mentions/ or Ads. If the first homeowner does not accept the kitchen design prize for whatever reason, MLDBR will select a new winner.
The winner will be notified by April 26th, 2024, by phone and email. No announcements to any MLDBR social media, Website, or Press Releases will be made without signed written consent of the winner. The winner will need to respond and accept by April 30th, 2024.
The winner of this contest will win a complementary “Design Development” phase of the Murray Lampert Experience valued at $6500. The “Design Development” phase includes the following:
Meeting with our Project Consultant, initial on-site meeting to evaluate current conditions, and final vision.
Measure-off meeting, where our team meets with the homeowner on property to measure the necessary areas and discuss the scope of the project in detail.
Design Meeting (Two meetings).
Trade Walk, where all involved trade representatives review the scope of the property.

The prize is not redeemable for cash value. All plans that are shared to the homeowner within this prize are all conceptual, and not permittable. If more design time is needed, a Change Order will be created to capture that additional cost.
By accepting the prize, the winner of the contest will automatically give MLDBR consent to use their MLDBR experience, project details, photos, testimony, and other marketable tools to use on publications on the MLDBR’s website, relative newsletters, social media, and press releases. MLDBR will never disclose the address of the winning home.
The following actions will result in disqualifications of the entry:
MLDBR reserves the right to make changes to the rules if necessary and will make efforts to communicate these changes to participants.
All business practices, procedures, and contracts follow local, state, and federal laws. All zoning, engineering, research necessary to complete the project will always be in compliance/ partnership with city and county municipalities.
