Historical Craftsman Remodel

Architectural design, structural engineering, historical review, permit processing and construction were all part of a whole-home renovation of this 1909 Craftsman in Mission Hills.

This was a true “soup to nuts” home remodeling project and included new wood doors and window installations, replacing of all the horizontal redwood siding, installing a new 50-year architectural shingle roof and completely gutting the full interior of the home.

The kitchen was renovated with distressed finish wood cabinets, granite countertops, commercial-grade appliances, a farmhouse sink, and a full-height tile and stone backsplash. In the formal dining room, the original wood floors were restored to their former glory, and a new bay window extension offered ample room for a custom china cabinet.

Our team also brought a non-permitted room addition up to code, which now serves as a wonderful sitting/reading room for the homeowners.
