Staying within the spacious limits of the home, our design team reworked the layouts of the kitchen, family room, powder room, and master bathroom to create more open spaces. The new design brings light and modern flare back into the previously dated space.
Primary Bath:
This primary bathroom remodel transformed a functional but outdated space into a modern sanctuary. The centerpiece is a Victoria & Albert freestanding tub made of Volcanic Limestone in white glossy finish, which the client selected early in the design process. The shower features a Kohler Anthem thermostatic valve system paired with Brushed Nickel Brizo fixtures. The renovation prioritized both aesthetics and functionality, incorporating White Oak vanity cabinets with efficient drawer storage and recessed Kohler medicine cabinets. The design showcases luxurious Thassos Honed Marble throughout, with custom waterjet-cut Thassos Marble and Rivershell backsplash creating striking accent features. Despite the high maintenance requirements of marble, the clients achieved their vision of a modern white sanctuary with subtle sparkle and shimmer throughout the space.
Kitchen:
This kitchen transformation maximized functionality without expanding its footprint. Removing a non-load-bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room created an open-concept space, while a new wet bar with coffee station enhanced entertainment options. Custom cabinetry featuring soft-close hinges and specialized storage solutions improved functionality. The design balanced White Oak lower cabinets with off-white upper cabinetry, while a teal-painted island complemented the leathered Fantasy Macaubas Quartzite countertops and matching pendant lights. The result: a forever home perfectly suited for family gatherings and entertaining.
Powder Bath:
Our petite powder room packs a stunning punch! The showstopper? A mesmerizing iridescent mosaic in blues and greens that flows from floor to backsplash, perfectly echoing our kitchen’s blue Quartzite theme. Warm White Oak cabinetry brings natural elegance, while Brushed Nickel fixtures add a modern sparkle. Though compact, this space delivers pure luxury – proving that sometimes the smallest rooms make the biggest impression. It’s a jewel box that never fails to wow our guests, bringing five-star hotel glamour right into our home.
Fireplace:
The transformation of this space centered on a bold architectural decision: removing the wall that previously separated the living and family rooms. This strategic change wasn’t just about following the popular open-concept trend – it was about reimagining our clients would live and interact in their home. The newly opened space called for a striking focal point, which led to the installation of an impressive, oversized fireplace. To create a cohesive design that would flow seamlessly between spaces, the fireplace was thoughtfully clad in the same luxurious Quartzite stone that graces the kitchen surfaces. The design unity continues through the careful selection of color, with the fireplace’s surrounding cabinetry finished in the same rich teal shade that makes the kitchen island such a standout feature. This attention to detail in materials and color palette ensures that while each area maintains its own identity, the entire space reads as one harmonious whole, perfect for both everyday living and entertaining.
